LA Commemoration: Celebrating Success Through Community Support

On October 3rd, AG hosted the LA Partner Mixer at the Motoring Coffee Club in Los Angeles. This event brought together a diverse group of educators, alumni, business owners, corporate partners, and community members contributing to AG’s mission. The gathering was an opportunity to celebrate AG’s progress while also recognizing the individuals and organizations who have been pivotal to our success.

Gregory Jones, AG’s Chief Executive Officer, shared a powerful message about the importance of building wealth, particularly in resilient communities, and how a strong first job can lay the foundation for a lifetime of success. His speech highlighted how, through the support of our partners, AG is able to connect young people with invaluable opportunities for internships, mentorships, and career placements. Abercrombie & Fitch: Focusing on Mental Health for Holistic Development

Our partnership with Abercrombie & Fitch (A&F) has entered its third year, and we could not be more appreciative of their unwavering support. This year’s event centered around mental health, a critical aspect of our work at AG. As one of A&F’s six impact partners, A&F has made it possible for our high school students to participate in life-changing experiences like international trips and college tours, broadening their horizons and enriching their academic journeys.

AG’s own, Dr. Bly, spoke on a panel during the event, emphasizing the importance of mental health support in our programming. His remarks reflected AG’s holistic approach to student development, which includes mental health as a core focus. We are especially grateful to Abercrombie & Fitch for making this work possible.
Their commitment allows us to provide services such one-on-one college advising to ensure our students are emotionally prepared for the challenges ahead.
