Brent is a pioneer of the biodiesel movement and has been a biodiesel educator and producer since the fuel emerged in the United States about 14 years ago. He is now a nationally known spokesman on biodiesel and related issues. Brent is an environmental advocate who has been focused on various sustainability issues for over 20 years. Prior to founding Tri-State Biodiesel in 2004, he was the Executive Director and founder of Biotour.org, a non-profit organization that specialized in global warming and sustainability education. Through his work at Biotour.org and Tri-State Biodiesel, Brent has educated hundreds of thousands of Americans about the dangers of global warming and the benefits of biodiesel fuel. Brent has been the subject of numerous print articles, radio and television programs including in the New York Times, National Public Radio, ABC's Business Week Weekend and PBS News Hour, which called him a "Johnny Appleseed of biodiesel." Baker is currently advising members of the New York State Assembly and the New York City Council on biodiesel policy. He also serves as a consultant to other biodiesel start-ups and is featured in the award-winning documentary "Fuel." Baker, who has met with Al Gore and biodiesel superstar Willie Nelson, is called upon regularly to be interviewed or speak at biodiesel industry and environmental forums. More recently, Brent was nominated for Social Venture Network's Innovators Award for his work at Tri-State Biodiesel.

Madeleine is the owner and CEO of LPS Industries – a manufacturer of flexible packaging materials for the medical, food and industrial markets. She joined LPS in 1988 after a thirteen year career on Wall Street. Madeleine was the Executive Vice President of Capital Markets for the Irving Trust Company – a large money center bank in New York City which was purchased by Bank of New York in 1988. Madeleine also served as President of Irving Securities. She received her MBA in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and her BS degree in finance from Georgetown University. Madeleine was nominated in 1984 by Savvy Magazine as one of the top 20 corporate women in America and was also featured in Forbes magazines “People to Watch” section. Madeleine is on the Board of Directors of the Flexible Packaging Association and is active in promoting women entrepreneurship studies at the university level.

Dr. Maslo is a Professional Engineer with over forty-seven years diversified experience in project management, product management, systems engineering, marketing and sales management, software development, data warehousing, computer simulation, communications, information technology, and business development.
He was been with Energy and Management Associates (EAM) since October 2001, assigned as a full time consultant to TRC Energy Solutions, Inc., where he works as Project Manager of the NJ Smart Start Buildings Program, part of the NJ Clean Energy Program.
Prior to joining EAM , he was Director, Energy Applications for the NCR Corporation where he lead the group responsible for planning and requirements definition for application software development, focused on the energy industry, drawing upon information stored in a Data Warehouse. He also directed software application search, evaluation and strategic partnership alliances with third party vendors focusing on the Communications and Energy sectors.
For the first twenty one years of his professional career, Dr. Maslo specialized in Mathematical Modeling and Computer Simulation with Electronic Associates, Inc where advanced from Applications Engineer to Project Manager. He was responsible for the design and development of a number of full scope training simulators that were used by Utilities, domestically and internationally, to train operators for both Nuclear and Fossil Fuel Power Generation Stations.
For thirteen years he was in the Communications Industry, initially with Bell Labs where he conducted research and development of muli-media systems using fiber optic technology. For two years he was Director of Systems Engineering at York Telecom where he was responsible for the design of fractional T-1, multi-media systems mostly for government agencies. Going back to AT&T for two years as a consultant, he was responsible for a project that modeled and simulated an integrated communications system prior to nationwide deployment.
For two years he was Director of Marketing and Sales for Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) where he re-organized and directed domestic and international marketing, sales and communication activities for the Division. This included the proposal, presentations, negotiations and sale of a $6.8 M Full Scope Simulator to train operators for a fossil-fueled power station in Canada and a $5.25M Simulator for a power station in the Peoples Republic of China.
On the Academic side he was a member of the Advisory Board to the Department of Physics and Electrical Engineering at Middlesex Community College and was an Adjunct Professor at both Brookdale Community College and Ocean County College, where he taught Mathematics and Engineering Courses to Undergraduates.
He earned a Ph.D in Engineering, a M Engr in Mechanical Engineering, a BS in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics and a BA in Mathematics and Physics. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware and has authored 29 publications in professional journals and conference proceedings.
